Express Entry Canada
Immigration Program

Express Entry Canada Immigration Program was introduced in January 2015 in the IRCC system for Canadian immigration. This program is designed for the selection of workers who are looking to migrate to Canada for financial stability.

This is an entirely online process that involves the federal government, provincial governments, and employers in Canada. This new Canadian immigration selection system strives to eliminate all the complicated processes involved in immigration.

Express Entry Canada makes the immigration process simpler, faster and efficient and benefits the qualified skilled worker in obtaining permanent residence in 6 months

Express Entry Canada Program is not an immigration program in itself. Express Entry is an application management system that is used by the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to manage and process the application received through different federal economic immigration programs of Canada for skilled workers.

Application Procedure for Canada Immigration Express Entry Program

Eligible candidates must submit a profile online, which is also called Expression of Interest (EOI) to the Express Entry pool. The eligible candidates will automatically receive a CRS based on the profile submitted and will be ranked against the other candidates in the pool. The CRS score is used for Express Entry draws conducted by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) at regular intervals. Candidates above a particular rank are invited to apply for Permanent Resident (PR) status.

The candidates whose profile is not invited for PR status will automatically expire after 12 months, and hence the candidate has to resubmit the profile.

Invited candidates will have 90 days to apply for PR status. The application form should be submitted along with personal information and supporting documentation online.
